The Fontenay is a striking blend of luxury and value situated along the serene Alster. I spent two nights in the Executive Suite, which provided ample space and a magnificent city view - definitely worth the splurge for a wildlife conservationist like me who appreciates the beauty of nature. While I didn't dine at the Lakeside restaurant, the Parkside did not disappoint. The breakfast buffet offered a great selection, pairing nicely with their attentive staff who made me feel genuinely welcome. The sauna with panoramic views was an unexpected highlight; it's a refreshing twist to a typical hotel feature. Given the immaculate condition and thoughtful amenities like the fitness centre and indoor pool, the Fontenay strikes an impressive balance, offering luxury without letting go of financial wisdom. Worth considering for your next getaway!
